An award winning TV start-up based in Leeds.
Founded in 2020, we are an independent production company run by a well-respected and award winning team (BAFTA, RTS, Rose D’Or, Prix Europa) who have extensive experience of making high profile programming for all of the UK’s broadcasters (BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Sky, and Channel 5) in all factual genres.
All of the folk at ClockWork Films love factual television. Why?
Because we’ve got an insatiable curiosity about the world.
It’s a fascination that drives us to unwrap themes and stories which speak to the zeitgeist and look to test the state of the nation on the biggest issue of the day – it motivates us to find the most compelling characters.
Ultimately we want to tell the most visceral, entertaining and fascinating stories – and whether that’s a history or observational documentary, a fact-ent format or a series of short films, it will say something about the world we live in.
